The vision of the ADU is to unite mother Africa with her children living in the diaspora to develop mutual economic interests.
African people lack sustainable institutions to advocate for their mutual interests. The ADU aims to build 5 sustainable institutions namely for Busines organisations , professionals organisations, community organisations, Faith groups and organisations for our young people. We aim to do this through a federation of African diaspora organisations working together synergistically.
As human beings we all have one common origin from Africa. It is therefore a vision for the unification of all mankind living outside the motherland, regardless of skin colour but who recognise their common African origins. Hence the ADU platform is a prospective place for the union of all peoples.
Nevertheless there is an obvious economic disenfranchisement of black peoples of African origins globally. This inequity is a vestige from the days of institutional discrimination, exploitation, slavery and the colonisations of black African people of recent past . These systems were fuelled by ignorance, greed, ego, paranoia and straight forward racism backed up with pseudoscience to justify the processes. Unfortunately today some of these systems continue to run so deep and are so entrenched that they are sometimes perpetuated by African peoples themselves through denial of their our own original , natural, cultural, spiritual and religious practices. These factors contribute to the economic plight of African people today in the diaspora.
On the one hand the ADU vision aims to promote cohesive , collective, cooperative economic development for all those who know and respect their common true earthly origins.
On the other hand it is a Vision to point humanity to its true and authentic common identity which is not actually African at all and which is not tied to a geographic location but to a higher self of freedom and liberation.
